BLEvo for your Smart Levo

Did you pair it to BLEvo before going to the configuration screen?

I'm running Android horizontal orientation with the speedo and Cadence Gauges. It appears the needle might have gotten bigger on a recent change and it blocks part of the digital display when it is pointing generally upward.

Is this the recently announced battery firmware update?

You can use BLEvo but the derestriction feature will not work with that TCU version.

Did you go into the BLEvo Levociraptor menu and set a speed? It may be set on no change.

Look under Diagnose, then Display in MC.

I reset the TCU twice. The same thing happens. The speed is too high and I cannot access the speed correction to set it to 1.0 which would make the speed right.

BLEvo - Paolo Have you had a chance to check this?

    It is a gen 2.

Part of the problem is the multiplier is read only when the Levociraptor is connected to BLEvo. When I disconnect it from BLEvo I can change the multiplier but loose the other Levociraptor features.

I just put a Levociraptor I was using on a 2019 Turbo Levo on my 2020 Creo SL. It was showing the proper speed with a 1.5x multiplier on setting 3.

I set it on Level 5 on the Creo which has a 2.5x multiplier. When riding the speed and distance were about 2.5x too high. I disconnected the Levociraptor from BLEvo so I could change the multiplier to 1.0x which made the speed display correctly. The speed derestriction stayed in place. If I reconnect the Levociraptor it changes the multiplier back to 2.5x so I have to ride with it disconnected which means I can't use Smart Power or have access to the temp and barometer.

Am I doing something wrong or is this related to a difference between the Levo and Creo?

"BLEvo reads the value from the Levociraptor.." The bike speed and distance can be read from the Levociraptor if I have a Mastermind TCU?

It seems to imply that some devices can still connect. "We continue to support connectivity with ANT+/BLE devices and apps (such as Garmin/Wahoo etc.) that read/store/mirror bike data."

Over on the EMTB Forums Specialized Rider Care says:
"We've only changed the way that devices/apps wanting to control bike performance settings authenticate and connect. We continue to support connectivity with ANT+/BLE devices and apps (such as Garmin/Wahoo etc.) that read/store/mirror bike data."

Since they are concerned with apps controlling settings could you not make a BLEvo mode that can show the read only parameters from the bike such as speed, cadence, distance, etc. This would be better than no BLEvo at all.

I attempted to upload a ride to Strava that turned out to be corrupted and never appeared on Strava. BLevo only gave the standard message about the upload still being processed. Is it possible for BLevo to wait on a success / fail from Strava?
